Over the last 28 years, there are very few of San Antonio’s most prestigious and substantial projects and events that haven’t been touched by the expert hand of Janet Holliday. She has grown her company, The CE Group, to offer six distinct divisions of experience-based marketing expertise: event and production management, destination management, venue management, national sports marketing, public relations, and creative services (through Goods Collective). This depth and breadth of services, combined with the style, organizational skills, positive work ethic, and radical customer dedication that are the foundation of the company culture, has long positioned The CE Group as the leader in their industry. As President and CEO, Janet is a highly sought-after expert in events and marketing, not only in Texas but throughout the country. Married for 35 years, she also enjoys long walks with her Welsh springer spaniels, reading, traveling, and coloring outside the lines.

Ever since her first job as a birthday party hostess at a bowling alley, Krista has loved the excitement, energy, and reward of planning special events. As Events Division Director at The CE Group, she specializes in all sizes of high-impact events such as ground breakings, grand openings, curated culinary experiences, and festivals featuring health and wellness, as well as recurring activation programming – the more moving parts, the better. A firm believer in plans B-Z, Krista is especially adept at bringing together organizations, clearing red tape, accommodating the weather, and celebrating every step of the process. Through her work she is passionate about urban development, and Krista constantly follows the growth and construction of our downtown (and has city contacts on speed dial in order to get things done!). A fourth-generation graduate of Baylor University, Krista loves to hang out with her family and her dogs, Chula and Charlie.

Shane has been an artist all of his life, drawing and taking photographs as a child, and studying the bold primary work of Hopper and Mondrian. He now translates that love of shape, space, and color into award-winning brand identities for a variety of client products and events. Shane works deep in the initial research phase, building a consistent visual platform that has true meaning and resonance, and adeptly transforms an initial idea into clear, clean, bold design. From the creation of the logo and event brand to the production of signage and collateral, all visual elements contain the thread of the client's message woven throughout. As the head of Goods Collective, CE Group’s Creative Services, Shane’s graphic design expertise and immense creativity allows The CE Group to go beyond what is expected. When not in the office, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

As a natural communicator and relationship-driven account manager, Megan can assure that your public relations goals are seamlessly met no matter the medium. Megan provides clients goal-oriented copy, content execution, media relations and social media strategy. Although Megan is a stickler on grammar and content, she has a passion for dreaming up unique angles and stories to promote her client in the best light. She’s known for maintaining a plethora of accounts while completing all deadlines with the highest quality of work. When she’s not hunting for the best latte in San Antonio, Megan can be found outdoors – walking a nature trail, spinning at JoyRide, or walking her golden retriever/best friend, Bode.

After marketing and branding, Viviana believes that flawless event planning and execution is the foundation for communicating a client’s mission. She merges her passion for event planning and strategy with her interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail to execute successful projects. Originally from Mexico and fluent in Spanish, Viviana brings added value for bilingual clients and vendors to ensure cultural understanding and trust. Away from work, she loves running, reading, Crossfit, and spending time with her two adorable pups.

Lesley specializes in envisioning and sourcing the collateral, décor, and production elements that make events truly memorable, and executing them to perfection. Efficient, outgoing, and always quick to volunteer, Lesley is a star when it comes to marrying logistics and creativity. Lesley’s bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship from Baylor University and resourcefulness in project management make her a successful communicator, capable of understanding and catering to specific client objectives. A country girl at heart, when not in the office, she enjoys exploring her home state of Texas and spending time on the family ranch in Luling.

With a bachelor’s degree in both public relations and social interaction and a master’s degree in interactive media and design, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and charisma into the orchestration and fruition of the projects she manages. She loves working on events as if they were a puzzle—crafting and working on each piece to fit perfectly with another to paint the complete picture. Clients respond to her positivity and commitment. When she’s not in the office, Rebecca enjoys hiking through state parks, listening to live music, spending time with family, and loving on her Black Lab puppy, Hank.

Nicole discovered her passion for working in the events industry through the relationships and connections she made while studying communications at Texas State University. She has excelled in this industry through showcasing her incredible ability to adapt in this fast-paced environment. By combining her skills of communication and impressive organizational techniques, Nicole helps support all of our services including event production, managing our entire database library and all things logistics. She enjoys being in the thick of everything, from initial planning to last minute details, and you can always find her on the front lines problem solving and getting her hands dirty. When she is not juggling office and on-site tasks simultaneously, you can find her trying on one of her 90 pairs of shoes or obsessively cleaning her house.
Cassie Hager McMillan

During her 15 years with the CE Group, Cassie has earned her reputation as an organized, unflappable, level-headed events director, so dedicated that once, even appendicitis didn’t prevent her from overseeing a client celebration. Cassie’s motto is “a good attitude goes a long way.” Her experience with a wide variety of organizations has made her a master of evaluating client needs and assembling a unique team that best fits the project, then producing efficient, creative, and cohesive results. She loves to see a project from concept to completion. Off the job, Cassie loves volunteering, traveling with family and friends, and creating fabulous meals when she entertains at home.

Christyn has been managing events, primarily sport-focused, for The CE Group for a decade. A former college athlete and coach with a master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Texas at Austin, her passion and depth of knowledge has made her a leader in many CE projects. Obsessed with logistics and always looking for new ways to improve efficiency and productivity, Christyn loves to save time and money and minimize complications–for her clients and her team. Outside the office, she skillfully runs a household comprised of a husband, three small humans, a yellow lab, some chickens, some goldfish, and a tadpole.

With 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tammy’s mission is providing exceptional customer service and building deep and long-lasting client and staff relationships. Her connection to the San Antonio hotel and meeting industry keeps her at the forefront of opportunities for perfectly executed, authentic, and customized events. As a DMC Certified Professional, Tammy handles everything including specialty tours, dinners and dine-arounds, team-building activities, incentive trips, and all aspects of transportation. At CE, she is our go-to happy hour and birthday party planner. When not spending time at CE with her work family, Tammy enjoys spending quality time with her own family and friends, gardening, and traveling.

Amanda Tutor is one of San Antonio’s key ambassadors, bringing the city to life and creating unforgettable experiences for out-of-town guests. Managing venues and coordinating events allow her to see the city through fresh eyes as well as flex her creative muscle. A former actor and musician, as well as event coordinator for the Tobin Center for Performing Arts, her extensive background in the arts helps her put on a new “show” every day for her clients. Amanda is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Administration at UTSA to further her interest in the life-changing power of the arts in communities. When not planning elaborate goodie bags, Amanda is scouting new locations, attending festivals and concerts, and giving three compliments every day.

Prior to joining the CE Group DMC team, Megan worked in corporate finance and ran an equestrian business. Although her background is in accounting and banking, she had always planned events and travel for non-profits, and craved more of the creativity and camaraderie she was missing as an entrepreneur. Megan loves being able to take ownership, solve problems, and rise to challenges through her role as project coordinator. When not supporting her team at CE, Megan can be found sipping wine in Napa, hiking in Colorado, or teaching a local Pilates class.

Dempsey’s mission in life is to help others feel celebrated and important, and that extends to her clients as well as their audiences. She received her B.B.A. in Sports, Event, and Tourism Management and her M.B.A. from UTSA while serving as captain of both their NCAA volleyball and NCAA basketball teams. Those leadership roles gave her the interpersonal communication and organization skills that she applies to all of her projects, helping her to complete them with diligence, excellence, and passion. Dempsey’s team-building approach allows her to work behind the scenes in unconventional ways, and she has a special place in her heart for non-profits and organizations with philanthropic missions. Although her collegiate athletic days are over, she still loves staying active through cycling and other group exercise classes.

Julie sources all branded items for client events, from signage to awards to apparel (in other words, she’s the person you go to when you need 500 pompoms by Friday). In her ten years at The CE Group, Julie has built a finely tuned one-stop shop with the company and has become the “goods” in Goods Collective. Specializing in unique technology items and Texas vendors, Julie is fanatical about quality control and great design. Her original role was in account oversight, ensuring nothing fell through the cracks, and she still approaches all her projects with the same meticulous attention to detail. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, keeping up with her three sons, spoiling Gizmo the cat, and savoring a good chicken Caesar salad (dressing on the side).

As a designer, Marcela is inspired by bold, bright, attention-getting color and provides her clients with a fresh, modern approach that truly tells the visual story of their brand. As one of the designers with Goods Collective, CE Group’s Creative Services, Marcela is able to communicate quickly and efficiently with her clients, especially on bilingual and bicultural projects. She handles everything from event identity and brand design, to invitation and program layouts, as well as overseeing creative strategy for CE Group and Goods Collective’s websites and social media channels. Marcela is happiest working closely with her team and clients to create flawless, seamless design solutions. Originally from the Mexico, Marcela loves the slow pace and family atmosphere of San Antonio. She enjoys spending time with her sister and nephew, and is constantly on the lookout to learn new things and keep up with today’s design trends.

Margie comes to The CE Group with 30 years of office administrative experience. She is known in the office as "Mamma Margie" and describes her role as “practically a counseling position.” To her, the CE team are her clients, and she strives to handle all requests with maturity, patience, and perspective. She epitomizes the CE logo of juggling many balls, including office procurement, scheduling meetings, IT liaison, and, with her encyclopedic knowledge of the warehouse inventory, she ensures every event has a complete customized box of supplies. In her spare time, she loves taking long walks, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and following politics. Margie is, unsurprisingly, always the last to leave the party.

With The CE Group since 2016, Grecia handles everything from budgeting to forecasting, payroll to receivables. In addition to her master’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M San Antonio, she is currently pursuing her CPA certification. A team player to the core, she’s happy to be pulled away from her spreadsheets to help with events as needed. Grecia feels her motto, “If you aren’t growing, you’re in slow-motion liquidation,” applies to both her professional and personal life. In her free time, Grecia spends time with her family and friends, runs and boxes to offset her serious Vietnamese Pho addiction, and lavishes attention on her needy Sphynx cats, Luby and Gumby, and her Shih-Tzu, Moo-Moo. In a family of extremely serious Loteria players, she is known as El Parajo, the Bird.

Arcy brings a lifetime of experience in corporate finance as well as a real estate license and a master’s degree in human resources to her role at The CE Group. After years working for national companies, she loves the dynamic, creative energy here and rejoicing in the team’s successes. Away from the office, Arcy’s first priority is her new grandson, Jaxon. She also enjoys gardening and antiquing, especially traveling across Texas to small celebrations like the Floresville Peanut Festival.
