TITLE:  CE DMC Project Manager



SUMMARY:  Coordinates multiple components in the Destination Management Company division of The CE Group, Inc. including, but not limited to, logistics planning, proposal writing, operations & execution of complex multifaceted conferences, events, venues and/or production programs.


  1. Coordinates and arranges CE DMC project services and logistics such as hotel accommodations, transportation, rentals, venues or restaurant reservations, decoration and/or supply purchases, signage, permits, and event security.
  2. Coordinates project vendor needs by contacting, tracking, and confirming vendors to include verifying and/or collecting and entering new vendor information into the database, processing invoices, and verifying invoices to project template.
  3. Working with the team to revamp new proposal materials for CE DMC. Execute all proposals in a timely and efficient manner. It is not uncommon that proposals are to be turned around in very short time frames.
  4. Coordinates project staffing needs by contacting, tracking, and confirming project staff to include verifying and/or collecting and entering new project staff information into the database, processing time sheets, and verifying time sheets to project template.
  5. Provides operational logistics such as creating and maintaining vendor timelines, transportation and lodging spreadsheets, and site map, meeting agendas and recaps, and Run of Show documentation.
  6. Organize and manage each event folder and forms from start of sale to end of event. Input all budget and client forms in folder throughout the event sales and operations process.
  7. Provides assistance in project close outs by capturing all costs related to the project, verifying receipt of all vendor invoices and staff time sheets, and submit proper documentation to Accounting for processing.
  8. Work on hotel partnership and setting up sales presentations and follow through on relationship building
  9. Coordinate all logistics associated with producing a CE DMC event
  10. A drive to learn all aspects of CE DMC sales


Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.


(2) Years in DMC environment and fast-paced, event logistics or related industry experience.


  • Must have strong customer service, project management, and time management skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite software, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Visual: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or other materials.

Physical: May be required to stand for long periods at project functions or sit for long periods of time while preparing for projects. May have to lift folders, files, papers, small boxes, and other items weighing up to approximately 10 lbs. May be required to bend, stoop, or climb in setting-up events. May have to travel to project sites.

Title: Event Manager

Reports To: Managing Director (Director of Events Team), and President & CEO  

Classification: Open Only to Project Based or Part Time Applicants

Description: The CE Group is seeking applicants to perform overall project management tasks for client projects. This position will require the employee to work alongside team members daily and will perform external and internal duties as described. Qualified candidates for consideration should have experience in coordinating logistics, planning processes, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Duties included, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and manage projects or aspects of projects as assigned.
  • Participate in client site visits, meetings, and conference calls to ensure that progress is maintained, and objectives are being met.
  • Provide project management services with the company’s reputation for attention to detail and documentation, including creating and maintaining updates to necessary project documents such as Run of Shows, Project Recaps and Site Maps.
  • Secure, negotiate proposals/contracts, schedule and manage ongoing communication with various project component partners and vendors including, but not limited to permitting, entertainment, health and safety needs, venue, food & beverage, décor, rentals, photography/videography, audio-visual, security, signage, transportation, parking, etc.
  • Develop budgets, provide detailed expense sheets and work within client budgets to the best of ability.
  • Oversee and manage the on-site execution of projects including supervising support staff, resolving logistical issues, and ensuring project execution meets client’s expectations.
  • Participate in required internal team meetings.
  • Performs other duties as required.



  • Minimum of 3 years career experience in a fast-paced environment with significant planning skills, and similar or parallel job duties. Comparable experience may be acceptable pending review.
  • Confidence working independently, exercising sound judgment, and knowing when to lean on others to develop as such.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, project management, time management, and customer service skills.
  • A great team player, who supports one another through good attitudes and a drive to produce superior outcomes together.
  • Physically able to execute projects for potentially long periods of time on-site including load in and load out.
  • Experience working in high-demand environments where delivering great outcomes for clients is paramount.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite software, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
