Over the last 31 years, there are few of San Antonio’s most prestigious projects and events that haven’t been touched by the expert hand of Janet Holliday. She has grown her company, The CE Group, to offer a depth of services such as event production, public relations, branding and design, charitable campaign development, destination management, team building, and social media strategy. Style, organizational skills, positive work ethic, and radical customer dedication are the foundation of the company culture, positioning The CE Group as a leader in the industry. As president and CEO, Janet is a highly sought-after expert in events and marketing, not only in Texas but throughout the country. Janet stays healthy with Pilates, good home cooking, and lots of sleep! Married for 37 years, she enjoys long walks with her dogs, reading, traveling, and coloring outside the lines.

Ever since her first job as a birthday party hostess, Krista has loved the excitement, energy, and reward of planning special events. As a Managing Director and head of the Event & Production team at The CE Group, she specializes in high-impact experiences like ground breakings, grand openings, culinary experiences, festivals, and galas – the more moving parts, the better. Krista is adept at being a resource, clearing red tape, problem solving, and celebrating every step of the process. A fourth-generation graduate of Baylor University, Krista loves a good bike ride, all things street art, and spending time with her fiancé, Pete, incoming 3 stepsons, and her dogs, Chula and Chisme.

Shane has been an artist his entire life, and he now translates that love of shape, space, and color into award-winning brand identities for a variety of client products and events. He works in the initial research phase, building a consistent visual platform that has true meaning and resonance, and adeptly transforming ideas into clean, bold designs. From the creation of the logo and event brand to the production of signage and collateral, all visual elements contain the thread of the client's message woven throughout. As the director of CE Group’s Creative Services, Shane’s graphic design expertise and immense creativity allows The CE Group to go beyond what is expected. When not in the office, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

Lesley specializes in envisioning and sourcing the collateral, décor, and production elements that make events truly memorable, and executing them to perfection. Efficient, outgoing, and always quick to volunteer, Lesley is a star when it comes to marrying logistics and creativity. Her bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship from Baylor University and resourcefulness in project management make her a successful communicator, capable of understanding and catering to specific client objectives. A country girl at heart, she enjoys exploring her home state of Texas and entertaining friends and family.

After marketing and branding, Viviana believes that flawless event planning and execution is the foundation for communicating a client’s mission. She merges her passion for event planning and strategy with her interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail to execute successful projects. Originally from Mexico and fluent in Spanish, Viviana brings added value for bilingual clients and vendors to ensure cultural understanding and trust. Away from work, she loves running, reading, Crossfit, and spending time with her two adorable pups.

With a bachelor’s degree in both public relations and social interaction and a master’s degree in interactive media and design, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and charisma into the projects she manages. She loves working on events as if they were a puzzle, crafting and working on each piece to fit perfectly together. Clients respond to her positivity and commitment. When she is not in the office, Rebecca enjoys hiking, listening to music, spending time with family, loving on her dogs, and chasing her toddler around.

Nicole discovered her passion for working in the events industry while studying communications at Texas State University. She has excelled in this industry through showcasing her ability to adapt in this fast-paced environment. By combining her skills of communication and organizational techniques, Nicole helps support our services including event production, managing our entire database library, and all things logistics. She enjoys being in the thick of everything, from initial planning to last minute details, and you can always find her on the front lines problem solving and getting her hands dirty. When she is not juggling office and on-site tasks, you can find her trying on one of her 90 pairs of shoes or obsessively cleaning her house.

Growing up, Danielle always knew that she wanted to work in the hospitality industry. Setting out to pursue her mission and putting her hotel, restaurant and tourism management degree to the test, she has gained a heart for service and a brain for organization and logistics. Always looking to learn new tricks of the trade, she carries all experiences gained with her. Danielle has worked on large conferences as well as corporate and nonprofit organizations alike supporting project such as Special Olympics Texas, H-E-B, YMCA of Greater San Antonio, and many others. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, she grew up in a small, midwestern town and as a former rollercoaster operator she is a pro at controlled chaos.

During her 17 years with the CE Group, Cassie has earned her reputation as an organized, unflappable, level-headed events director, so dedicated that once, even appendicitis didn’t prevent her from overseeing a client celebration. Cassie’s motto is “a good attitude goes a long way.” Her experience with a wide variety of organizations has made her a master of evaluating client needs, assembling a unique team that best fits the project, and producing efficient, creative, and cohesive results. She loves to see a project from concept to completion. Off the job, Cassie loves volunteering, traveling with family and friends, and creating fabulous meals when she entertains at home.

Christyn has been managing events, primarily sport-focused, for The CE Group for a decade. A former college athlete and coach with a master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Texas at Austin, her passion and depth of knowledge has made her a leader in many CE projects. Obsessed with logistics and always looking for new ways to improve efficiency and productivity, Christyn loves to save time and money and minimize complications–for her clients and her team. Outside the office, she skillfully runs a household comprised of a husband, three small humans, a yellow lab, some chickens, some goldfish, and a tadpole.

Dempsey’s mission in life is to help others feel celebrated and important, and that extends to her clients and their audiences. She received her B.B.A. in sports, event, and tourism management and her M.B.A. from UTSA while serving as captain of both their NCAA volleyball and NCAA basketball teams. Those leadership roles gave her the interpersonal communication and organization skills that she applies to all her projects. She has a special place in her heart for non-profits and organizations with philanthropic missions. Although her collegiate athletic days are over, she still loves staying active through cycling and other group exercise classes so that she can keep up with her growing family.

Pam’s previous experience as a DMC account manager gives her a solid foundation to continue creating memorable experiences for her clients. She loves working behind the scenes and is an efficiency queen! Pam is passionate about providing exemplary client service, and one of her greatest pleasures is wowing her clients once all the program elements come to life. Her unusual talents include an uncanny ability to untie knots and tangles, selective ESP and solving puzzles, all of which serve her well when putting the pieces of her programs together. Pam received a bachelor’s degree in PR/Mass Communications from Texas State University. Outside of work, Pam enjoys attending concerts and spending time with her toddler, husband and fur baby.

A fresh talent in the world of experience marketing, Letty joined The CE Group as an intern and quickly racked up valuable skills serving a diverse roster of event production and DMC clients. She was inspired to join the industry after working as a banquet server for weddings, holiday parties, and corporate functions where she fell in love with the idea of creating fun for others as a profession. A California native and recent graduate of Chico State, Letty brings a positive energy and go-getter attitude to every project she touches. She’s a hiking, biking, get-out-and-go kind of girl and is enjoying finding new places to hang in her hammock in San Antonio.

Prior to joining The CE Group Destination Management (DMC) team, Megan worked in corporate finance and ran an equestrian business. Although her background is in accounting and banking, she had always planned events and travel for non-profits, and craved more of the creativity and camaraderie she was missing as an entrepreneur. Megan loves being able to take ownership, solve problems, and rise to challenges through her role as project manager. When not supporting her team at CE, Megan can be found sipping wine in Napa, hiking in Colorado, or teaching a local Pilates class.

Celeste is a native San Antonian who embodies the energy and diversity of the city and is passionate about sharing it with those around her – no matter how many miles away she may be. After graduating from Trinity University with a degree in both Sociology and Spanish, her educational endeavors and curiosity took her to New York City to pursue a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University. Throughout a 10-year duration living and establishing a professional career in New York, Celeste had the opportunity to work for companies such as MTVNetworks, NBCUniversal, Inc. Magazine, and The Walt Disney Company. In her experiences, she was able to flex her public relations and creative writing skills and grow her social network exponentially. Knowing that her true passion was to make an impact on the city of San Antonio, she has since moved back and continues to thrive both as an individual and a professional in her current role as a part of the Integrated Communication team.

Julie sources branded items for client events, handling everything from signage to awards to apparel (in other words, she’s the person you go to when you need 500 pompoms by Friday). In her ten years at The CE Group, Julie has built a finely tuned one-stop shop with the company and has become the “goods” in Goods Collective. Specializing in unique technology items and Texas vendors, Julie is fanatical about quality control and great design. Her original role was in account oversight, ensuring nothing fell through the cracks, and she still approaches all her projects with the same meticulous attention to detail. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, keeping up with her three sons, spoiling Gizmo the cat, and savoring a good chicken Caesar salad (dressing on the side).

Marcela provides her clients with a fresh, modern approach that tells the visual story of their brand. As part of CE Group’s Creative Services team, she communicates quickly and efficiently with her clients, especially on bilingual and bicultural projects. Her work includes developing brand designs, creating invitation and program layouts, and overseeing creative strategy for The CE Group’s and Goods Collective’s websites and social media channels. Marcela is happiest working closely with her team and clients to create flawless, seamless design solutions. She is part of the San Antonio Chapter American Advertising Federation (AAF) Board and is constantly learning and keeping up with design trends. Originally from the Mexico, Marcela loves the slow pace and family atmosphere of San Antonio.

Margie comes to The CE Group with 30 years of office administrative experience. She is known in the office as "Mamma Margie" and describes her role as “practically a counseling position.” To her, the CE team are her clients, and she strives to handle all requests with maturity, patience, and perspective. She epitomizes the CE logo of juggling many balls, including office procurement, scheduling meetings, IT liaison, and, with her encyclopedic knowledge of the warehouse inventory, she ensures every event has a complete customized box of supplies. In her spare time, she loves taking long walks, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and following politics. Margie is, unsurprisingly, always the last to leave the party.

With The CE Group since 2016, Grecia handles everything from budgeting to forecasting, payroll to receivables. In addition to her master’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M San Antonio, she is currently pursuing her CPA certification. A team player to the core, she’s happy to be pulled away from her spreadsheets to help with events as needed. Grecia feels her motto, “If you aren’t growing, you’re in slow-motion liquidation,” applies to both her professional and personal life. In her free time, Grecia spends time with her family and friends, runs and boxes to offset her serious Vietnamese Pho addiction, and lavishes attention on her needy Sphynx cats, Luby and Gumby, and her Shih-Tzu, Moo-Moo. In a family of extremely serious Loteria players, she is known as El Parajo, the Bird.

They assist with on-site event support and logistics, airport greetings, transportation, venue staffing, tour guiding, and guest check-in (among many other things). At events of every size and type, this devoted and first class team always shines.
